Peel the celeriac, slicing off the top and bottom and sweeping down the sides with a heavy, sharp knife to remove the tough skin. Cut the celeriac into thumb-thick slices and then into fat chips. Hold off with salt until the chips have been baked.

- Take Herb salt
Add paprika powder and mix with a wooden spoon so that the celeriac chips. are coated with the paprika powder. Leave in oven to cook until the chips are cooked and. - Slowly deep-fry in 160℃ oil.

I've also discovered it's delicious chopped into 'fries' and roasted! These Celeriac Fries look very similar to normal potato fries, but have a nutty and slightly sweet flavour. Celeriac has been mentioned quite a few times as an alternative to potatoes, and for use in mash and chips. I'm experimenting at the moment (deep frying celeriac chips as I type). All the recipes that I have seen so far have been for oven chips, and part of the "healthy" seems to be not frying them in oil or fat.
