- Melt Jaggery in 1/2 cup water by boiling.Seive it.
- Take bajra flour in a bowl. Add melted jaggery and 1 tsp ghee.
- Add almond pdr,elaichi pdr, dessicated coconut and fried til.
- Make a stiff dough.
- Make small balls, smear hands with oil and make tikki with hands only.
- Fry them in oil on medium heat for 5 mts.
- When they turn brown take them out.
- Serve bajra tikkis garnishing them with grated coconut.Can be preserved for a week.
- They get hard when cool.So cover them as soon as they get cold.
- You can fry til little bit before adding or can be added raw.Fry them very carefully on slow heat.
- Grind elaichis with almonds for making pdr.
- Don't add too much jaggery, tikki may break while frying.
- Knead dough very well.
