- Take 4 pieces drumsticks
- Take 1 cup water
- Make ready 1 cup buttermilk
- Prepare 1/2 cup besan(gram flour)
- Get 1 tbsp red chilli powder
- Make ready 1 tsp turmeric powder
- Get to taste Salt
- Make ready 1/2 tsp Lemon juice
- Take 2 tbsp Oil
Instructions to make Drumstick Curry:
- Wash and clean the drumstick thoroughly. Chop off the top a bit and partially peel it with knife itself. Chop them into finger length pieces of equal size and use it in curries
- Boil the drumstick pieces in a pressure cooker. After one whistle turn off the stove. Take it out once it cools down.
- Now heat a wok on medium heat and add some oil, add boiled drumsticks, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt and mix with spatula.
- Now add some water, stir it for 5 minutes. Then add buttermilk. Leave it for another 5 to 7 minutes.
- Add 2 tbsp of gram flour and mix it with spatula.. (drumsticks should not break while mixing)
- Add lemon juice, and red chilli powder again. Mix well
- If it's thick you can add lil bit of water.
- It's ready drumsticks curry. You can have it with chapatis or rice. This tastes yum 😋.
