Rinsing with cold water will avoid over cooking and also remove the stickiness. Keep the hot water and start boil the water again. Put aside the noodles.
- Drop eggs into the hot pot. (If you like half boiled soft egg, it takes 7 minutes).
- (If you have mochi). Add mochi 2 minutes before eggs are done.
- Right before you serve, heat the noodles by using the saved boiling water. Put the noodles back into the boiling water for 30 seconds. This way, you can avoid having lukewarm soup which is not good. Strain. Place the noodles into the serving bowl then pour the soup over.
- Sprinkle the minced scallions (We didn’t have it today😅) at the end enjoy💕(if you like a little kick, add sprinkle of ichimi togarashi as well)
