The ingredients needed to make Shahi Chicken:
  1. Make ready 375 Grams Chicken (curry cut pieces)
  2. Get 1/2 tsp Salt
  3. Get 1 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  4. Get 1 1/2 tbsp Curd
  5. Prepare 4 Red chillies
  6. Take 1 tsp Fennel seeds
  7. Take 1 Onion
  8. Prepare 2 1/2 tbsp Oil
  9. Make ready 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
  10. Make ready 1 tbsp Tomato sauce
  11. Get 1/2 tsp Kashmiri Chilli Powder
  12. Get 1/2 tsp Garam masala
  13. Make ready 150 ml Water

Process: - Heat oil in a Kadai/pan and add the Onion-Red Chilli paste. The colour of the paste should not become dark. Shahi chicken korma is a rich and flavourful curry. It's a dish invented for nobility.

Steps to make Shahi Chicken:
  1. Marinate 375 grams of Chicken with ½ tsp salt, 1 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste and 1 ½ tbsp curd and set aside for half an hour.
  2. Now on low heat dry roast 4 red chillies alongwith 1 tsp of fennel seeds.
  3. Now transfer the dry roasted chillies and fennel seeds of step 2 in a grinder and grind it up.
  4. Now in the grinded mixture add 1 Onion and grind together.
  5. Now heat 2.5 tbsp oil and add the onion and chilli mixture and mix well.
  6. Now add the marinated Chicken.
  7. Now add ½ tsp coriander powder, ½ tsp Kashmiri chilli and ½ tsp garam masala and 1 tbsp tomato sauce and cook for 2 minutes.
  8. After 2 minutes add 150 ml of water and cover and cook for 15 minutes on low heat.
  9. After 15 minutes remove the lid and simmer for 2 minutes.
  10. After simmering for 2 minutes serve and Enjoy.
