Instructions to make Champurado:
- In a large pan, heat water and cinnamon stick until boiling.
- After cinnamon boils, add chocolate/abuelita and stir constantly until the chocolate has melted
- Brown the flour until golden. Put into a bowl and add cup of milk. Stir/whip until there is no balls left in bowl
- Or if you are using masa, no need for browning the flour. Just add the portion to the bowl and stir/whip with equal parts of milk as listed (2 cups)
- After the flour is stirred with balls, add into the cinnamon/chocolate water
- Constantly stir mix, then add the rest (1) cup of milk to water
- Mix, add sugar, mix
