  5. Take 24 sheets frozen phyllo dough, thawed
  6. Take 5 tbsp butter, melted

Add chopped garlic cloves and brown the meat in a skillet. Once meat is cooked add Sofrito, Sazon, tomato sauce, onions, green peppers and red peppers. In a medium skillet, combine soup mix and ground beef. Separate crescent dough according to package directions, then cut in half.

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F
  2. Cook ground beef until browned. Drain. Return to skillet.
  3. Add brocolli, velvetta, and cooking cream. Cook and stir until cheese is melted.
  4. Place 1 sheet of phyllo on work surface; brush lightly with butter. Repeat with 2nd sheet; cover with 3rd sheet. Do not brush 3rd sheet with butter. Cut phyllo lengthwise in half with pizza cutter. Repeat with remaining sheets to make 16 strips.
  5. Spoon 1 heaping spoonful of meat filling onto 1 end of a phyllo strip, about 1 inch from corner. Fold over opposite corner to form a triangle. Continue folding like a flag. Repeat with remaining strips. Place turnovers on baking sheets; brush with remaining butter.
  6. Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.

Place a spoonful of meat mixture in the center of each triangle; fold over and seal edges. Stir in Worcestershire and Dijon; season with salt and pepper. Remove from heat and let cool completely. These savory little snacks are so good, it's hard to eat just one! I always serve these turnovers with a large tossed green.
