- Place in the oven on 200 degrees for 20 minutes. Remove the excess of water from it then place again for another 20 minutes.
- You might want to add the halloumi cheese after baking the chicken for the first 20 minutes. But I enjoyed it like that crispy and tasty.
A dash of red-pepper flakes and a few sprigs of oregano make. When the chicken is cooked, top with the halloumi and black olives and grill until the cheese is golden and melting. Serve the chicken sprinkled with basil leaves and with the vegetables on the side. My first attempt over the weekend became a slight failure. Unfortunately, my cheese ended up more like a herbed curd cheese than halloumi.
