The ingredients needed to make Fried Tofu:
  1. Get 2 blocks tofu, slice
  2. Make ready 2 tomatoe, chopped
  3. Make ready Shallots and garlic, minced

Fried tofu can be dipped in just about any kind of sauce: barbecue sauce, vegan ranch dressing, honey mustard, Chinese hoisin sauce, or even wing sauce. You can also use fried tofu in any vegetable stir-fry, fried rice, vegetarian curry or noodle dish, or just as a crispy-crunchy snack or main dish. Add the chopped spring onions and toss with the fried tofu. Add the soy sauce, water, maple syrup, rice vinegar and cornstarch to a measuring jug.

Instructions to make Fried Tofu:
  1. Stir fry shallots and garlic then add tomatoe. Season with salt. When cook set aside
  2. Cut tofu into slices pat dry with kitchen towel. Heat pan add oil then fry tofu. When done arrange in a plate and put cooked tomatoe in the center to use as dipping sauce

Pour this over your tofu and gently toss the tofu in the sauce until the sauce is mostly evaporated and the tofu is browned, crispy and sticky. Transfer crispy pan fried tofu to a plate. Garnish Crispy Pan Fried Tofu and Enjoy! Garnish crispy garlic tofu with sesame seeds and green onion. Crispy tofu is best served immediately as it loses its crispiness after half an hour I would say.
